I'm still wearing those shoes in the OP, and they are in damn good shape.

That's pretty impressive that you've managed to get shoes to last 2 years. I can barely get 6 months out of mine.

Mine are getting pretty worn but oh so comfy.
Depends on the climate. I usually last a year with a single pair. Haven't been in Ireland for even a year and I'm on my fourth (!). True, I walk a lot and the roads are shitty, but this is excessive. Talked to other foreigners here and they have the same experiences. Probably because the ground is wet all the time, as apart from the amount of rain the roads here have no gutters either.ghettoperson wrote:

I bought these the other day for when I've left this bane of shoes aka Ireland:
Mine are brown though with them gradually getting darker towards the nose. I wasn't looking for shoes, just walked past them. They had one pair left in one size for half price, so I tried them on and it was a perfect fit
I'd say my current pair of runners are at least 3 years old, maybe even 4, and I wear them practically everyday.ghettoperson wrote:

I have a pair of pumas that are just over 4 years old now and I've worn them almost everyday since I bought them.DrunkFace wrote:

like omni's but less hip
Not exactly comfortable or stylish... but then again, I didn't have a choice in the matter
Breaking in a new pair for skating, wore out the soles on my Campus 80's.
It needs to be old skool. I hate skateshoes that look like loaves of bread. Besides, who could say no to Leprechaun green?

I bought these yesterday because my old shoes had the bottoms coming off they were so old.
Size 8 1/2 men.

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
Fucking love 'em.
^I had a pair of those(was one of my fave shoes), but about 1 month after I bought them someone broke in my apartment and stole it. Funny part is that nothing else was taken. No cash, tv, pc, camera, only the goddamn shoes.
