It kind of feels cheap.. the 520 plastic that is. Truthfully it's not fancy enough. I need an rf remote anyways. The timing of my Harmony 1000 dieing was very convenient .

what an insipid way to read them. i'd be surprised if you got through 5 of that list in such a way. there's a joy to owning a collection of books (yes, even discworld...) and seeing them all arranged on your shelf. kindle archive? i can barely contain my excitement.

I still have books on my shelf, and always will.

But fuck taking them with me on my commute to work every day.

Gotta agree with Uzi and Aussie - I would read so much more if I had an eBook reader of some kind on my daily commute. The books I read are often absolute bruisers in terms of size and never fit in my backpack among all my other uni books. On the way to work now it's better but then I try and catch up on my RSS feeds in the train

Meant to add more to this post but got distracted...

I agree with Uzi that having a bookcase full of books is really nice. In my room back in the USA, I've got a rather large book collection and I had to leave it behind when I moved to Vienna.
