I need a headset thats comfy (most start to hurt my ears when i have em on for 1 or 2 hours) and has a good quality mic. Would be nice if it wasnt too expensive either,

Suggestions?

This one actually looks cool. But i feel like they just added 20 to the price because it has the sc2 logo slapped on it.

I will advise against that razer headset that Camm linked. I had the same one. It lasted about 6 months, then the mic broke. Granted it could have been a lemon.

I'm gonna recommend http://steelseries.com/us/products/audi … siberia-v2

I own it, and I love everything about it.

A little bit more of course, but as you may know you pay for quality.

PS I know a person's idea of quality is relative and this is by no means the best.

Theyre pretty similar in price. I guess i would have to read some reviews on both.
I read one on the razer headset and they gave it a very good score.

Im think im going to go for the steelseries
-Steelseries looks a lot better than razer
-I can use it on my ipod without looking stupid (because of the looks)
-From what ive read in reviews, quality is better and its more comfy

There's a guy on my bus to work every morning that wears Creative Fatal1ty's (with the mic unplugged of course) to listen to his mp3 player. I guess most people wouldn't really notice but to the people that do actually game and know they're meant to be used as a headset, it looks stupid.

Or you could just not give a fuck and walk around downtown with the mic pulled out on the SteelSeries

I've seen a guy do the exact same thing here in Vienna with his Fatality headset. Made me do a double-take...

and this is what the price-tag is all about: the gold-plated cherry mx brown mechanical switch (what a sound and feel!)

not sure it's worth the high pricetag (it is, after all, just a keyboard) but it has totally revamped the way and speed of my typing (it's ultra-responsive and the lightest touch will signal the letterpress, making touch-typing a ballet dance of mere glances). the sound is a real joy, too
