Anyone know how to swap audio channels? In CS:S my left/right are swapped, so when a gunshot goes off on my left it comes in on my right side of my headphones. Only happens in CS:S as far as I know. Currently using onboard sound with my Asus P5Q Pro.

inb4wearheadphonesbackwards, it's uncomfy.
realtek control panel -> swap left right channels?

or perhaps inside CSS sound settingS?

EDIT: The realtek controlpanel will also let you test left-right btw
Not got Realtek control panel.. Let me find a driver update, hud oan.

Its a nice card but it's really loud and it hits 73 degrees while playing games.

73 degrees is nothing for a GPU. my OC'd 8800GTX's nearly hit 90 degrees with lots of extra case-cooling.

The drivers off of the Realtek website are generally more up to date than the mobo manufacturer's site.

Yeah but the manurfacturer ones are the only ones guaranteed to work... not that it matters on high-end manurfacturers though

AFAIK, the ones that I can get from Gigabyte are the same exact ones that I can get from Realtek, just a version or two behind.

realtek releases new drivers every week with no real changes only some new logos for new mobos.

Yes, but if a driver makes the mobo-specific chip incompatible with something the manurfacturers might not release it..

Take club3D gfx cards for example, we had 3-5 cards that would run "perfectly" on the drivers that were with the card (on disc), but updating drivers would cause the screens to flicker with irregular intervals...
Spoiler (highlight to read):
And yes I know club3D is SHITE

Bought a ipod line out cable so I can properly listen to music in the car. Damn EU volume limit on the headphone jack.

(ipods suck, yadda yadda, I agree, Find me something better with 160GB+ storage)

I just use a normal lead with the red/white connectors on the end that's plugged into the back of my radio. Plenty loud enough. However it's a bit annoying because the iPod keeps playing when I turn the radio/engine off and iPod controls are a bit fiddly when driving.

So I've taken to just burning music to MP3 CDs (or indeed using actual audio CDs). Could say I've gone backwards technology-wise ... but it sure works better and is easier.

Can fit plenty of reasonable bit-rate mp3's on a CD, so meh.

The car would even take MP3 DVDs, but I'd have to burn ~35 of them to match the ipod. I like to have all my music on me at all times.

I listen to a fair bit of classical music. You really need all the volume you can get during the quiet bits.

I could have merc install a USB interface during the next service, but selecting songs through the navigation system is so horribly slow. Compromises everywhere

I've had the T260HD for nearly 2 years now, pretty much the same except with TV Tuner and built in speakers (for ps3) and I love it
