Also, it was on sale when I got it, I see its gone up in price now. It was $1000 including taxes and shipping for me.

I can justify it just like people can justify spending 2k on their computer system. I dont game much anymore so a 1k system is just fine for me, then I can spend the other thousand on my monitor Though, I do need a complete rehaul of my current computer. Motherboard is total shit and crashes all the time, planning on a full i7 build this summer.

8800GTS is nothing to be sniffed at if all you're doing is watching movies... although enjoy occasional gaming on a resolution that high

It struggled at 1680x1050, itll be useless now

Though a new mobo/processor/ram is what I need more than anything else
