Why do SxS double barrel shotguns look so unbelievably cool?

Tell me that's not one of the coolest looking shotguns in existance.

The one from the Bourne Identity looked really cool too, it's a shame they gave it a cheasy firing sound effect.

There's also the one from 3:10 to Yuma that was kinda short, that one was awesome too and it actually had a powerful sound effect. Made it seem like it was an 8-gauge or something the way it went into that dude's chest.

Does anyone agree?

Yes I mean a double barrel shotgun, they make them in over-under barrel configurations now as well but those don't look nearly as cool as SxS DBs do.

I have shot that big boy a couple of times and, well, I really don't understand the hype. It is oversized, too heavy, and the pump-action is clumsy and slow. Recoil is nice though, and with powerful ammo it is nice to shoot that semi-auto.

Judging from the size of the muzzle I'd bet that's a .410. If it fires slugs it could probably work.

It's an interstate arms coach gun in 12ga. The barrel is 20" from breech to muzzle. For the cheap price it has excellent fit, finish and function. It's not a Holland & Holland, but you can't throw an H&H behind seat of your truck. It's also got external, functional hammers, as opposed to the more standard internal, automatic hammers. They look cooler and allow you to carry the shotgun loaded with less concern for negligent discharge.

OF all the guns I've got, it's one of the cheapest and one of the most fun to shoot. Unloading two barrels of 3" 00 at the same time is an experience.
