Well I have about 1.5 million SP, which isn't all that bad considering I'm only 27 days old. I recently tried my first Lvl. III in my Myrm and it didn't turn out so well.
Not because of my inexperience, but because the server lagged the hell out of me which caused my ship to be destroyed. Literally, I was sitting there tanking for about 5 minutes when I noticed my shields were down which is ok because it's an armor tank (sorta) and I really wanted to get at least 2-3 kills before I warped out. So I stayed there a bit longer until armor was 1/4 way depleted, which was when I decided to warp out. But I couldn't do anything, couldn't turn off any armor hardeners, couldn't stop my guns from firing, or even recall my drones.
So I just sat there telling my ship to warp out to the enarest station, but it wouldn't move. The weird part is that my shields were regenerating which completely contradicts what I was seeing on the screen (15 ships firing at me). Eventually the games unfreezes itself and in a matter of seconds all of my shield, armor and structure are gone and it says the ship is out of control...blah blah blah. But, it warps me to the nearest station in my completely destroyed ship, ejects me into a pod, and let's me look at my still intact ship jsut floating outside of the station. When I tried to board it, it said I was already in the ship...
Naturally I sent a petition to CCP to see if I can get my ship and equipment back (for that was fuckin' expensive! It had 3 rigs, 250 mm prototype gauss), this was a day and a half ago.
Think they'll reimburse me? I sure hope so because I just purchased another Myrm with 3 better rigs in an auction deal for 70 mil.
