Yeah,I personally get,from my mom and grandma.They have been brainwashed by watching all that stuff on TV about computers,FPSes and how evil the internet is.They think that it was invented only for porn and pedos.

Very often,when they see me decapitating zombies or just reading these forums,they say "I wonder what the hell are you watching or doing in the internet" or "Did you know that another kid killed himself again while playing these games?"

ps:They have never found porn or anything weird on my computer.

i give my sister shit because she always takes all the bandwidth using myspace and facebook and shit while im on bf2 or something, my dad can use the next fine but if its my sis on there the internet just dies, so i start downloading as much as i can so it ruins it for her

some of the guys at work think that i spend to much time on the internet after i get back home from work, my argument to them is that, ok i go home after work, turn on my PC and sit on that all night interacting, and all they do is go home and turn on the TV. mmmmm

My sister has Myspace, Bebo and msn open, with Youtube playing music in the background (she has a fucking mp3 player ffs). When I yell at her, my dad gives me the crap about it being everyone's internet, and she can use it to. BUT! As soon as he starts playing bf2, I have to stop whatever the fuck I'm doing so he doesn't lag. Hypocrite or what?

I use cFosSpeed and er, it can be free if you know what I mean.

Install on all computers, give yourself fixed bandwidth and set a bandwidth cap for all other computers, at the click of a button their internet still works but is as slow as you need it to be so it won't affect your gaming, they can still browse the web but youtube and shit will just take ages to stream for them while you use all available bandwidth on your game.
