When it's a more difficult paper they tend to lower the grade boundaries.

Yep. Last year CCEA maths grade-A was 50%.Mitch92uK wrote:

That's it! Every Spanish exam over! The reading paper was very hard, and the writing quite easy. Overall, I'd say I'm looking at a solid B - great because I just scraped a C in the mock in February.
Biology in 2.5 hours...no hope in that though!

It was 48% for me... I think we were Edexcel though... Fucking A.kylef wrote:

Hope it all went well Mint. I've got a French listening on Tuesday (should be easy) and then I dive into the two subjects that normally require the most revision: history and geography. Been learning a lot of history lately! Pretty much Germany from June 28 1919 to October 1941. Lots to learn!
I have a week off school as most in england (i think?) but when i go back I have;
2 x electronics
1 x maths calculator
2 x english
2 x geography
2 x physics
revision ensues. and i'm going abroad

Hate to sound elitist but I know pretty much all that history off by heartkylef wrote:

IB trains you like a fucking machine.
Well, I know it now Sadly, I haven't learnt the Irish course yet...which I don't find fun at all.
Well, French tomorrow Should be quite easy!
Write "Voulez vous couchez avec moi?" on your exam and hand it in.kylef wrote:

Well now we've got school exams in a week. What's stupid is in English and US History (where 99% of the students took the AP exams), we still have a regular exam. Hopefully the teachers make 'em easy out of pity.
Math and Science will be easy, same with Spanish. Freedom is so close.

Too informal, she's taught me for 2 years. Voules tu couches avec moi more likeebug9 wrote:

European French must be pretty different compared to Canadian French then. Vous is considered more formal here than Tu.kylef wrote:

Opposite here. Tu is informal, Vouz formal.
huh? Your correction is too informal using tu as opposed to vous.kylef wrote:

I have my biology AS exams (retaking module 1) on tuesday, I have to do well in both as I got an E (very very low, 2 marks of a fail in fact) last time in module 1 and got a D in my coursework somehow (even though i did the damm thing twice.
I think i may pass biology but at such a low level it'll be useless at a uni when i apply next year.

I've already had maths core 3. Got 2 physics and another maths(core 4) to go. + a few music ones for good measure.
Listening went quite well! It was a paper out a grand total of...40, lol. I'd say I am in the low thirties at least. This, coupled with a strong oral has set me in a good state for the reading and writing exams.
Worst case should be about 16 points, best 27. (A = 3, B = 2, C = 1, D or less = 0) - 10 exams
