Turn off the traction control, brake assist, and stability control. I agree the damage model was impressive. Depending on where I hit other cars, the it immediately changed the handling. AI is suberb though, the damage model is amazing, graphics are hawt. I might buy it.

Amen. Some kinda damage is good, but unless its a rally game "Crash hard enough and your car doesn't work anymore" is sufficient. I also noticed that you can be going full speed, full throttle and just turn the car effortlessly.Mek-Stizzle wrote:
Driving is too floaty, even with all the electronics turned off. Cars don't feel like they have enough weight. I didn't really like it. Even the graphics and the damage, F1 and GT5:P had way better graphics. Even GTA 4 has (way) better physics and possibly graphics than GRID, imo...
And besides, a racing game. If you play it properly, you'll never even notice significant damage
