to get the expert Armor Badge u need 400.... i repeat 4 0 0 hours in a tank. jeez whats wrong with dice...

what badge Requirement is in your opinion absolute senseless?

I have almost double that, and there were people over a year ago who had 50 and 60 thousand Driver points.

400 hours is a fair bit a time. Though it's the whole idea by 400 hours you should be an expert. Sadly i see people with alot less in other vehicles that require less hours and they are still far from a veteran.

That statement is reinforcing the fact that it's ludicrous to get the badge as its value is equivalent to that of a purple heart. In other words, you suck if you die 4 times as much as you've killed someone, and you suck not only at battlefield, [i]but at life[/] if you spend 400 hours getting an award saying "u r gr8 at teh tanks lol go plai them moar".
16.6 days of your life. If you played on average 4 hours a day, thats 100 days. 100 afternoons you could have done something productive like build a suit of death made from titanium that shoots rockets and draws its power from a generator that is also coincidentally keeping you alive.
Do not waste your time getting this. No one thinks your good for it, neither is it worth it.

I have found a way to get the medal using only 2 minutes of tank time! As a matter of fact, you can get all the medals instantly!

How many of the people complaining about 400 hours are IO players? People people people it takes 700 hours to get your expert kits badges. If you play BF2 the way they designed to be played (ie with vehicles) then getting the armor badge is easy. And don't tell me there aren't any armor around, because there are always servers where armor is available. I can go to full 48 player servers and and find unused armor on Warlord or Sharqi or Dragon. The only maps where armor is a bitch are the bomber maps (Daqinq, Kubra, Clean Sweep, Oman).

If it pains you to drive around in armor, then command in armor. Best pillbox/command bunker there is! Only AT and SpecOps can kill you on their own and of those only 2, SpecOps is the only one able to kill you outright. Just be ready to give it up for a teammate who wants to use it. If need be you can defend your flag more effectively if you use the armor instead of letting the enemy steal it, kill you and take the flag too.
