It really is THAT awsm. I mean, you can solo play up to 70 and never really run out of things to do. However, if you guild play it opens up parts of the game you'd never be able to do and get gear a solo player could only wish for.baggs wrote:

Kinda like RL, you can solo up to age 80 and never really run out of things to do. However, if you play with friends, it opens up parts of life you'd never be able to do and get memories a solo player could only wish for.rawls2 wrote:

And in RL you can have more than two main professions. Also you can get unlimited rang of different types of gear (referred to as clothes on RL).

I play WoW, and it's just like playing any other game, you CAN get addicted, and I definitely think WoW is easier to get addicted to than other games. But as long as you keep it to a reasonable amount of time a day, it's just another hobby, if you're playing upwards of 10 hours a day, you do have a problem.

I have played it, it owns, i got 120 gold + from selling briar thorns and i got to level 17 on the free trail. My first post was a Mcjoke but then the next guy was all srs so i went srs.
Im a level 16 and I played the trial. Got the game a few days ago and I`m on that stupid fucking vandencleef quest, when you NEED about 5 or 6 guys with u or a level 70 with you. I can`t get anyone to help me
Well, one youre on the trial, you cant start groups, you cant whisper people or use the city chat to ask for help, you cant trade with anyone, buy any decent gear, or make any money. Once you hit 20 you cant level anymore withe the trial. A level 40 or 50 can run you through VC but its not really that hard to find a group for it. The trial is rather limited so you might just want to keep doing other quests until you can buy the game. Once you buy the game it wont be hard to get help for things like that.ddenholm67 wrote:

He speak the truth!! Game doesnt kick off til level 20 if im being honest, it then gets better and better. Then you ding 70 and its like a new game again, WoW has a distinct end game stage and it really makes the levelling, which is fun in itself, an integral part of learning about your character. I've given MMO's more of a shot with Age of Conan, but my job is so seasonal that I have to stick with time cards and play only on less busy months, otherwise my mind always thinks about the $15 I'm paying for only a couple hours of level-grinding gameplay. Hopefully, Diablo III will be more fairly paced.
The one truly redeeming factor of WoW for me is the CGI sequences. Blizzard maintains a remarkable team, and I wish they would put out a movie in the same style.
Age of Conan is a fairly dire MMO experience to envelop yourself in .
I'm looking forward to Warhammer: Age of Reckoning now; just because WoW has become boring and bland over time, it has achieved a lot but is very much taking the safe option in terms of development/going forward to satisfy the mainstream majority and the demands of the casual gamer.
