In the real-world the guy carrying the M60 tends not to fire it when in a Special Operations Team, unless his team has been compromised and needs covering fire or heavy weapons support.
Since this is a computer game, I think it´s okay to be Saddam. Cause "in the real world" comments don´t apply here... i might even say, you don´t spot your enemy easier, just because he´s carrying one of those.
