I think the reason why server browser sucks for PC is because CoD4 probably was designed for consoles first and just did some workaround to move onto PC. If the game was developed for PC primarily and turned made it compatible for consoles later, the problem might be less severe.

I don't like HC, although it sure makes the M16 a laser pew pew pew, but they need a filter for it.
hardcore is not a good mode to play in unless you have excellent teamwork and good situation awareness.

Hardcore is so easy, atleast on pubs. M4 + Silencer + Bandolier + UAV Jammer + Dead Silence = Ultimate win on Hardcore. 9/10 people don't use deadsilence therefore you can hear them coming from miles away

perhaps it's because when you get the "drop " on another payer and you shoot the fuck out of him and WHILE your shooting the fuck out of him he turns around and kills you istantly. Perhaps that's why people pay hardcore
