It's an on-and-off game for me.

It's a real simple game (objective wise), which, I think, makes it great.
If you just want to shoot shit, get it.

Day of Defeat Source is a pretty awesome game too, although it has a higher learning curve from my experience.
..Mainly because it has actual recoil; if you fire, the crosshairs move up. Sniping is also real fun, and easy to learn if you spend some time on it.
It's the only game where I can pull of dragshots on a regular basis.

CS = Still EXTREMELY successful. Bf2= dieing
dying? i dont think so. cs=WoW for fps-players, nubish, easy satisfying, small maps, always the same. believe me i played it since it came out when? 1999, 2000??? i dont know. but hell it's boring
CS has more hacking noobs than bf2. me and my friend spotted in one day in a server 100 hackers.
1.6 or Source? Because in well over a year of CSS, I saw a total of two hackers....1 within the first few weeks of having the game.

If you play on good servers that always have admins on then you wont see too many noobs that hack
