2. He is guilty by ssociation, just like everyone else would be....He is married to a woman who has made similar comments, do you honestly think they have not had these discussions? Do you honestly believe he does not agree with it?

3. He very well might have less skeletons. If so, great. That is not my point. My point is, that by pointing out his skeletons, those that do so are considered racist, and I maintain anyone that would make such a charge is probably more racist than anyone they accuse.
So wait, if your pastor made prejudiced comments about Jews or Muslims (although I know you'd orgasm at the second one), you'd be guilty of thinking the same way just because you went to his sermons? Oh, okay. Just making sure.
I would never be part of any organization that spoke of racial predjudices in the manner as Wright.
What religion are you? Catholic?

If so, you already just proved yourself wrong. Catholic Church, one of the most intolerable organizations in the history of...well, Earth.

Well, still. Should everyone catholic be looked down upon just for listening to the Catholic Church? Of course not.

If you wanna make that argument I think you could make a case of it, only just wait until the next Catholic runs for president then knock yourself out. I promise I will not call you a racist, bigot, or predjudice for doing so.

No one is saying they have a problem with Obama because he attends the Church of Christ and that the Church of Christ, as a whole, has problems. It is that specific Church of Christ because of that specific pastor's comments.

People have been trying to obfuscate the argument by making it about race (it isn't) or about religion (it isn't). It is about Obama's judgement.

Listening...  no...  Believing that the Pope is infallible...  yes.

There are certain beliefs in Islam that also need some serious changing.  Some interpretations of Islam are extremely sexist, and those interpretations should be looked down upon.  That's something I figure you, lowing, and I can all agree with.

The problem occurs when we are tempted to assume every Muslim believes in these interpretations.  Liberal Muslims really aren't that different from the average Christian.  By the same token, not every Catholic follows the crazier side of that religion.

In short, every religion has its sane people and its crazy people.
