Actually I was raised a Catholic but the hypocrisy of it all has forced my to be agnostic

Well, still. Should everyone catholic be looked down upon just for listening to the Catholic Church? Of course not.

If you wanna make that argument I think you could make a case of it, only just wait until the next Catholic runs for president then knock yourself out. I promise I will not call you a racist, bigot, or predjudice for doing so.

Well, still. Should everyone catholic be looked down upon just for listening to the Catholic Church? Of course not.

Listening...  no...  Believing that the Pope is infallible...  yes.

There are certain beliefs in Islam that also need some serious changing.  Some interpretations of Islam are extremely sexist, and those interpretations should be looked down upon.  That's something I figure you, lowing, and I can all agree with.

The problem occurs when we are tempted to assume every Muslim believes in these interpretations.  Liberal Muslims really aren't that different from the average Christian.  By the same token, not every Catholic follows the crazier side of that religion.

In short, every religion has its sane people and its crazy people.
