My question is, if it is just a glock, that takes glock ammo, doesnt that make it just a fancy glock holder?
Why carry around a huge, cumbersome pistol attachment, when you can just carry around a pistol? Small, lighter, easier to conceal. Pistols dont need a stock.
My guess would be because of Concealed Carry laws. I'd bet that the FMG-9 is technically not concealed, so you don't need to get a CCW license to carry it. And Miss Jane Good Citizen wouldn't be frightened by an odd flashlight, but if she saw a Glock in your wasitband she'd probably call the cops.
the main difference that is present, is the ability to shoulder a full auto pistol.
ever shot a handgun? if so, you know its not an easy thing to master....further more if said handgun can fire in full auto. full auto glocks have a cyclic rate in the 1300's neighborhood, so its not easy to control by any means.
adding a shoulder stock is basically turning that glock into a SMG.
anyway, pretty cool idea.
