Italian-Ethiopian war. And no I knew that before I saw the links

Actually I didn't know it was Italians, but I could tell that they were Ethiopians in the other pictures. And it looked like a war in the 30's/40's and so I put the two togethor

Mek-Izzle gets the karma! Precisely it was the Second Italo-Abyssinian War, Italy (under Mussolini) invaded Abyssinia (Ethiopia) and used concentration camps/poison gas against local tribes people.

_NL_Lt.EngineerFox those are some great ones!

SgtHeihn? Do you find that such weapons are common in Iraq? I mean do people actually use them?

Second load of stuff.

Waffen-SS soldiers entrenched in Italy with a SdKfz 11 half-track. Summer of 1943.

SS-Obergruppenführer Theodore Eicke (The man who personally executed Ernst Röhm) surveying the battlefield in the Third battle of Kharkov, a couple of weeks before being shot down over Oryol:

An MG-34 crew in the Russian winter 1941. Note that they have great coats, possibly captured Russian ones.

Hungarian Waffen SS, 1945 using a Self propelled artillery gun. “Ausf H Grille” (Cricket). Note “oak spot” camouflage.

We found a lot of old WWII vintage weapons. 2 museum quality Mauser 98Ks with Nazi markings from 1943, STG-43(MP-44) with a chunk taken out of the stock by a bullet, Enfield's up the yin yang, mausen nagats, ancient Berretta's, Browning high powers(the only weapon of WW2 to be in regular service with both Germans and British).

The list goes on.

Both, the MP-40 I have in the pic has an improvised mag. I don't know if it would fire. That PPsH-43 snarled loud as hell and shot the brass straight up about 30ft.

For fully functioning MP-44 you would get a ton of money, they're that rare.

i have a friend of mine who just got back from Iraq and he has some of the craziest pictures....guys faces blown off laying on the ground...a guys head crushed by a tank, a guys head blown off and folded over the head rest of the car he was driving, a destroyed M1 from an IED (roadside bomb) a destroyed Hummer from rpg i believe...crazy crazy stuff.

i think one of the most amazing ones he has is of an incoming sand storm. those things look unreal.

i would love the opportunity to see yours though if at all possible.

I never liked looking at dead bodies.   Only time I wouldnt mind was when they were decked out in full battle rattle with their finger on a trigger.
