I'd give the guy a break if he'd gotten his results and they weren't that great. Instead of wasting his time on the forum he still has time to improve his results Tbh, I'm being harsh so that he realizes that they do actually count for something. I didn't know unis actually considered them when I sat them so I'm just hinting that they will hurt him if he does badly.

RE is optional for me but French isn't. It's all about the school.

I have never done anything like this? I have done coursework which accounts for GCSE in the year prior to the GCSEs but for now - my exams start on May 13 and finish on June 23rd. Over a month! In my mocks I did alright though...need 12 points to get back in to 6th form:

English - A - 3
English Lit - A - 3
Maths - B - 2
Ad Maths - D - 0
French - B - 2
Spanish - C - 1
Physics - B/C - 2/1 (unsure)
Biology - B/C - 2/1 (unsure)
History - B - 2
Geography - B - 2

So basically, in my mocks, I got 17/18/19 points which I'm pretty pleased with.

I did mine (badly) 16 years ago now and still remember the pressure young men like yourself get put under by exams.

Read the papers before you write anything down, take your time and just do your very best.
