BF2S Forums What the hell should I do? (Girlfriend problem)

last time i was cheated on i tried to make it work, but i just couldnt push it out of my head... so i dropped her and then got charged with assault after seeing the guy at the store one day

She's playing both of you, end it and find someone else.

you can try all you want, but she has shown her true colors. loyalty is not one of her strong principles, and if you want someone like that, find them.

Read it again and you'll notice you've already anwsered your own question.

Both of you have apparently recognized it as a mistake (she told you quite quickly too) and if you think you're gonna regret it for the rest of your life "Ditch the Bitch" might not be such a good idea. Personally I think it matters quite a lot it was her ex and not some random guy. If he was her BF for six years it's probably not like their first time and would have been a bit "for ol'times sake". It probably still hurts like shit, but if it was a random guy it would have questioned her loyalty and personality much much more. Someone else on this forum pointed out that she wasn't really in a position to set terms when she kept you from visiting her ex, but she might have just stopped you from doing something stupid. Even though I personally wouldn't have had any problem with you breaking some of his joints, it would have gotten you into trouble.

Anyway, it's silly to break up a relationship because others, or even yourself reason that you should. If you ditch her because that's the commonly accepted, perhaps also your commonly accepted logical course of action, rather than because you feel you should; you probably will regret it for the rest of your life. No one here on this forum or anywhere else can tell you whether you should ditch her or not; it differs from guy to guy with girl to girl (and of course the other way around as well). It's ultimately your decission, but let me say this; it's one that should be based on what you feel not on what "teh rulez" tell you about such a situation.
