i'm so so glad I'm done with all that SAT/AP/college app bullshit
What was hard about it? Maybe cause I only applied to one school I knew I was going to get in to, it was easy, but I found it rather painless.
got a 31 monday, my highest yet.
highest subscores:
eng: 32
math: 29
reading: 32
science: 36
i attribute my perfect science to the fact that ive been programming since i was 12/13
anyway, aiming for U of I urbana champaign, and if my low gpa prevents me from getting in, ill probably end up at purdue. im also taking a chance with u of wisconsin madison and u of michigan ann arbor. who knows, maybe it'll work out
sending out college apps this week its a stressful time

I dun want HaiBai going to my alma mater. I won't be here anymore next year, but nevertheless, you best get your ass into UofI.
nothing was THAT hard, it was just a pain in the ass. all the essays, blah. not to mention I went to a very competitive high school, as in my SAT score was something like the 90th percentile nationwide but 20th percentile in my HSDesertFox- wrote:

Ah, apparently Purdue now has an essay for admission, but they didn't require it when I applied. They do need to get stricter with their admission criteria, though.
VTech didn't have any required essays, but I wrote one explaining why I got shitty grades sophomore year
yeah im just applying to ann arbor in case i get lucky with them and unlucky with urbana.Brasso wrote:

your GPA turnaround is certainly impressive and it will show that you know how to work when you set your mind to it. i think you have a good chance

I don't know why you'd want to come to Purdue for CS anyway. I've not heard good things.
thanks for inputBrasso wrote:
