Hello folks - 1st. to all a Happy New Year!

Just curious what you think about 'such' a method to improve player stats or boost a lil bit the result of 'Best Round'?

I've come across this 'special training on a Ranked Server' by serving around and looking in deep for some player-stats, what are their preferred kits etc.
Since one of these !BB!-guys is a Tank-specialist with doing a perfect job with Hotel-spawn-killing on Karkand, i hopped over to the Server-Stats and found an interesting series:

Just a very small server and team switching - do YOU regard this behaviour already as Stats-padding or would you say it is legal or better acceptable?

Note: The !BB! is mostly an 'ingame prefix'. E.g !BB! DEFO_CZ is found in the stats with DEFO_CZ

See, one of the great things about sites like BF2S.com is the stats tracking. For instance, every stat padder on the =EGAME365= clan is given away pretty damn obviously by looking at a few key stats--for instance, if they have a 1000 best round score on a map, that's a pretty good indication of stats padding, especially if the other maps have more realistic BRS. Or if there's a sudden spike in the Score/Minute graph or the #revives graph. Sure, it's nothing concrete (like a screen cap or a video) but I consider it pretty damning evidence.

Getting back to the heart of this thread, my advice is to play a city map (Karkand/Sharqi/Mashtuur) and be Medic or Support (Medic's easier). Those revive/heal/resupply points add up. As for team switching, ick. I don't condone it, mostly because players love to switch to the winning team with like 5 tickets left to get the win. It's cheap. (As you can tell from my W/L ratio I never do it, lol.)

LOL, now i am at least a little bit aware of such 'tactics' - like 'Padding with paddles...'
And i - what a real dumbass i must obviously be - am trying since more than a week to achieve a 'lame' best round as MEC of 100, because it will be needed later on for the 'Golden Scimitar'. Also i try to get a 'Kill Streak' of min. 25, needed for 'Combat Action Medal'.
ok, achieving this all is still 'a long road' for me to take...

Hey,
Still I wonder...........
HOW do you get 663 points? With doing what? One person being an engineer throwing mines around whole the time and the other person supplier for ammo getting ammo point whole the time?
I still don't get it how you can get so many points?
Can anyone explain?

Yepp, but do you regard this 'now' also legit? BTW. i am far away from those 'fantastic' BR's, but still trying - now with medic kit.

When you look at the screenshots of the padding and at the statistics of these clowns i find this really unbelievable.
You know, at EA, they should open a padder report system where guys like these could be reported. Then they should be kicked out of the accountserver so they can start all over again............

Why don't we get admins of all servers to come together to one site so they can report people as well and we can have a code and all for different ranked server admins to follow and report suspicious/illegal behavior?
Let's name it Battlefield 2 Ranked Servers!

Ammo Bagging doesn't work anymore Passenger and Cohen, the 1.03 (september) fixed that; 15 seconds between each reload time. So techincally you can still whore the points but it's 4 a minute, and to get 40 that's 10 minutes. Many more effective ways.

My opinion is that there are 2 kinds of padding.
1: For getting medals
Most of the time, this doesn't affect your score very much.
2: To get a higher rank and a higher score

To get a medal, OK. If you wanna fool yourself, get a medal with padding. When you wanna be proud of it, get it the regular way. Anyway, when it doesn't gives an extra score abnormal score, it is what I call "legal".
Normally, these padding will only cost you point.

To get a higher score such as these !BB! of !EG! guys do, this should really be punished. A couple of weeks ago, some guys notices that the assaultToxic who is in the TOP10 leaderboard, is an active statpadder. What does this leaderboard tell you when these kind of scores are counted?

I can tell you, with the hours I played, I could have been in the TOP10 as well when I would have used these padding methods.
I think EA would be gratefull when they will now act and do something about this...!!!

man thats just sad all the hours i put in this game and he plays just that much omg i must suck real bad and how the hell do you get a score like that. for best round mine is only about 300 some thing and thats just off killing the chopper whores all map. for any 1 wanting a good round score try getting a main flag you know they cant help but want it back trust me you will get a good score off it.i love to take a main flag and try and keep it. you get defend points and the kills for it nice i know some might call it camping but thats not true the aim of this game to win is defend what you get some forget that. any way keep up the the good work all good site.

in other words every internet game will have cheaters. For example I use to play half lifes counterstrike and They HAVE SO MANY CHEATERS in there its not even funny (punkbuster does not work.) So my friend told me about battlefield 2 and I willingly switched. Now I read this post and I'm pissed. Every f-in game has cheaters in it I realize now there is not a straight civil internet game out there that doesn't have any cheaters in it. My best round score is 128 I love the tank and I'm good at tank tactics plus I hate dying a lot. Stat padders ? I'm sure everybody has came across one of these assholes who think there top shit. How about this make them pay 500 bucks for the highest rank out there and all the stat padders will come immediatly then ounce you all have the money kick there ip address and BAN THEM COMPLETLY HAHAHHA anyways cheating is so stupid becuase u accomplish nothing and get a laugh out of it but that's it. My stats are true and real and I feel proud of them. FUCK STAT PADDERS.
