Actually the 3870X2 is king of the hill. If you want to talk about single cards etc.. I know it's 2 GPU's, but it's not 2 GPU's in the sense of how nVidia does it. Because it has a 3rd chip to make the 2 work togethor, so it's hardware crossfire not software. Which makes a difference.

And I know you're still going to say "multi-GPU = not the same" but Multi-GPU in the way ATI have done it is the future imo. You know if they just covered the 2 GPU's and the hardware crossfire chip with a heatspread so it looked like one giant GPU, then you'd all call it a 1 GPU card right.

My 804kHz ISA local bus card owns both of you. It's got 128kB RAM FFS!
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Behold, the new king of the hill!
