This tutorial will, in much wordiness, get you through the process of extracting files from Relic archives and converting fda's to aifc's to wav's and, with apparently your own knowledge, to mp3's, allowing you to listen to stuff from Homeworld or Dawn of War whenever you want.
I decided to post this here for three reasons:
1) The internet is filled with bullcrap links about this process that generally try to sell you porn or pirated DVD's instead.
2) I like the music in Dawn of War and its expansions.
3) I was recently asked how to do this.
This works for all versions of Dawn of War; even the Soulstorm demo. For now, I'm going to assume you know how to batch convert wav to mp3 (I use Adobe Audition's batch processing feature, but there are freebies out there), or at least have a good idea where to get a program that does it for you.
