I got loved BF1942, and got BF2 as soon as it came out. Upgraded my PC to do so.
Played and played (as much as a full time job, wife, kids and a life will let you). Crap at it. Still loved it.
Got pissed off with hackers, posers, and lack of team play sometimes. Left it alone for nearly a year. BF2142 came out. I bought it, thought it was OK but BF2 was better, went back to BF2, played solidly for a year! Persuaded some real life mates to play, rented a TS server. Had a great time, but just a the arse end of its life really. Bought COD 4....
