Ive only played like 1 hour of it and so far id say 6 or 7, mainly because i played Company of Heroes before so i had high expectations and it felt like a step down.
Worth buying, though its lasting power is questionable. I don't think there's any way it'll have the staying power of, say, Starcraft.
Multiplayer is where it shines, but all plot believability in single player is thrown out the door with the sheer amount of resources the Soviets can stand to waste in the continental US when they've already been fighting in Europe.
I can go to sleep overnight and wake up to find that my defensive line has held off over 200,000 tanks, and it has zero effect on Soviet capability in subsequent missions.

Singleplayer is very cool! A bit short, but nonetheless very cool.
Multiplayer is very good too, it actually requires alot of teamwork to get the job done, which can be a good thing and a bad thing, because when having a non-teamwork team it will pretty much ruin your mood. Also, working together over VOIP and gathering points for nukes is insanely fun. I've had rounds where our team launched 7 nukes and the opposite another 4. Yeah..it kinda ruined the landscape

i'd give it a 9/10 easy because of good single player and great multiplayer
i LOVE it, but there is one thing that i dont understand. on some servers i need to download maps, where can i download them?

Admittedly I haven't played it all that much, but then thats because I don't have any desire to play it.
