New arena plans announced for the Isles announced by Nassau County executives. Vote is in August 1st.
If this doesn't pass, the Isles leave Nassau, and most likely Long Island. But from what Wang (the owner) is saying it won't cost the taxpayers a dime. A lot of people are saying this'll pass with no problem because of that, but regardless I'm still worried.
This is gonna be a long summer.

So I started a Facebook page in support of a new arena for the Isles. In not even 24 hours, I've gotten close to 1000 likes and RTs from Michael Grabner, Matt Moulson and several journalists. Brian Compton, the deputy managing editor for NHL.com, has been in close contact with me and helping me out substantially.
If you guys could "like" this page to help support the new arena and getting the referendum passed, I'd really appreciate it. Not even Ranger fans want to see the Islanders leave Long Island.

Was an game. Lightning will win if they keep playing like this. Didn't really like the end of game antics by Lucic and Horton. Lucic crosschecks Moore then he gets sucker punched by Horton. Then after that Lucic punches Hedman in the face. wtf is wrong with you Boston? Kinda cheap if you ask me.
