I'm slowly renovating my apartment, slowly meaning that I've currently been removing wallpaper one wall at a time/per week. Hey, I'm in no hurry.
This is how far I'm with the bedroom atm, I've renewed the closet (and done the floor in the whole flat before moving in, except for the kitchen). That's it. Apologies for the graininess, cellphone picture.

The building is from 1957, so not only can I see the history of fugly wallpapers from 50 years back, but it's a bitch to remove. I mean, really. Took me 6,5 hours to get the wallpaper removed from one wall, hence my amazing speed of renovation. One layer at a time. I got blisters on my blisters from it. But I can't quit since I already started. The end result will hopefully be nice.
So, yesterday I decided to continue a bit with the project and do another wall. As I started to reach the original wall which wasn't even painted back in the day, writing started to appear. I started to work around the text until the phrase "I see everything, I hear everything" became visible.
Freaky enough (Im a bit superstitious), right? So, I continued, and the next thing I saw was a swastika, then a picture of our favorite fascist, Hitler.
So now I'm thinking that my bedroom has bad karma. I'll be sure to sand out the images before painting over them.

It really was disturbing to have Adolf on the wall left of me while lying in bed yesterday. Because I couldn't get any sleep, I started to watch Superbowl, I soon after dozed off to dreamland.
I wonder what's behind the next wall I strip.. Satanic symbols?
