For serious guys, Let's have a debate about the universe.
Also do you think there are life on other planets?
And i know there is life in the universe somewhere other than us, because theres so many trillions of trillions of gallaxies with a few hundred billion stars in each.

That's called the multiverse theory. And it's only a theory. Each universe has its own set of scientific rules/laws apparently.i just watched war of the worlds lol
there are more than one universe, and in the other ones things are fucked, like scientific laws don't apply and shit.
For life to exist, there obviously needs to be a set of conditions met. It needs to be in a very circle-like orbit to the sun (otherwise it gets too far/close to the sun). Our orbit is elliptical but not to the point where we die off from heat/cold. There obviously needs to be water and the planet needs to be of a "middle" size (not too big, not too small) otherwise gravity would shit all over you. If all these conditions are met its called "the Goldilocks zone". By anthropic principal, we know the goldilocks zone exists because we are currently alive. I can't remember the exact numbers, but off the top of my head there was an estimated to be at LEAST 1000 goldilock-zone planets. Of course there is life out there, but it will be a long time before we physically know of it. Atm, it's all speculation.Mitch wrote:

But what about the edge of space? Like, if you're in space, then nothing really immediately surrounds you, but if you get to this "edge" per say, then WTF is going to be there?!
nothing doesn't exist. Nothing is the absence of something.syndicat111 wrote:

But to say there is nothing implies it is an area of something without anythinggene_pool wrote:

the something = our universe. And as I said before, timelessness is something that no one can contemplate.syndicat111 wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Exactly, however the issue at stake is what is outside the universe - for there to be nothing, when the something is not the universe, there must be something, and so nothing is not a valid answer.gene_pool wrote:
