Like I feel bad for Australia....hell you all get moon shots everyday at the beach looking at all the sweet female ass
We had one not that long ago that you missed out on.
Typical America. Late to fight World Wars, late to see a Lunar eclipse.
Anyone notice the compass is backwards?

so its not backwardsSome people may be puzzled that the Moon's motion is from west to east (right to left) in these diagrams, instead of its daily east to west (left to right) motion in the sky. However, the Moon actually moves WEST to EAST (right to left in the Northern Hemisphere) with respect to the Earth's shadow and the stars.
Any pictures?

My sister was telling me about this. Here's a good blonde story:
She said about how the moon will get eclipsed soon and I asked how, and she said something about it being blocked by something. She thought this something blocking it would be Saturn.
Saturn? Quite a fucking detour it's taking from it's orbit just to block our moon
Would Saturn even fit between the space of us and the moon?
Fucking idiot.
But anyway, I may stay awake and watch it...
dam i was searching the net and stuff to see if we could see it

Well the telescope in our house will be setup I'm sure. I think my brother does have an attachment to connect his D50x onto it so no promises, but some excellent shots could be taken on our side. If so, I'll upload them asap. If not, NASA normally has them anyway.
Happy watching!
Happy watching!
The only problem is that last night it was foggy/cloudy so I hope it clears before tomorrow night
I'm ready.. I took this about a half hour ago .

Sadly, I got nothing but cloud cover here. When is the moment of Totality suppose to be? I might check the weather report and find out if I can get some clear skies. THEN if I do, I'm gonna go to Wal-Fart and buy the biggest telescope they sell, use it tonight, then return it tomorrow lololool.
Nature is a powerful force. Those who seek to subdue nature, never do so permanently.

D50 is setup for dark pictures now - getting some nice shots, some having a distinct correlation in sharpness compared to Kmarion's Finally, a 70-300 Sigma pays off, eh!
Tripod is a necessity .kylef wrote:
