OK toying around with this image from one of my favourite books "Palestine" by Joe Sacco.

I love this image:

No I've been playing around with this to produce this:

It seems to pixelised for my liking and I'm having problems changing the definition, when I resize it it looks perfect until I save it and it kinda looks blurry.

I got around this problem by going to "Image" -> "Variables" -> "Define" and using the "Pixel Replacement" this seemed to work fine, though more of a fluke than anything else.

I'm still not happy with it, but can' think how to alter it tech wise. (I'm ok at photoshop, but not fully adept).

Thanks!

what'd you make it with?

If with photoshop, I dont see why that is pixelated...it shouldn't be if you resized it right.

Yeah I got photoshop CS2, and that;s the reason I'm asking, I don't know why it keeps on resizing it, then suddenly pixelating?

Oh I think I know why it's pixelating now, you saved it as a jpeg.

I always save my images as .png, much better quality IMO, and I've never had the pixelation problem.

Just when resizing, just select what you are resizing, then edit>free transform. (if you aren't already doing that)
