Put it this way - there's going to be an upside and a downside to every single candidate.  The trick is to figure out which one is going to mess things up the least, and vote for them.

What's wrong with the Schwarzenegger, i thought he did a lot of good things in California?
Yeah, what's wrong with Arnold?  HE's not doing everything right, but he's light years better than Davis.  I"m pissed that he signed the microstamping bill, but he's doing his best to recoup the robbed billions enron stole.
Start here: http://www.arnoldwatch.org/Default.php

Just so you know, I voted for him.

Speaking of Enron:

His own quote: "Affirm the commitment to private power by dismantling the California Power Authority."

Rebuttal: "Arnold means that that he will remove the state´s best protection against another phony shortage. The Authority was created to be able to build public power plants in order to reduce the market power of private firms like Enron. Arnold would rather entrust the system to the same private energy companies that stole billions during the energy crisis."

His own quote: "Slow and poor policy response exacerbated financial degradation of utilities - (such as a) delay in raising rates"

Rebuttal: "Arnold is saying that the big problem with Gray Davis´s handling of the energy crisis was that he delayed in raising rates on average Californians! Arnold´s solution would have been to force innocent consumers to pay even more money to Enron and the other energy profiteers.
That he has not committed to fighting for the outstanding $9-$20 billion these energy firms still owe Californians indicates Arnold does not understand what the voter anger about the energy crisis meant, namely that under deregulation, Californians paid too much for power and should get their money back."

Vote Ron Paul then.  Seriously, your reasons for not voting for some of the people there are really stupid.  McCaine is not going to have a mental breakdown, and the country would erupt in violence if anyone tried to "advance their Christian adjenda".

Ron Paul's toast....just watch tonight's debate. Fucking media gives him maybe 1 minute to speak.

It's unfortunate.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.  How the HELL can you people believe that we can afford to give out universal healthcare when we are going bankrupt.  None of the candidates other than Ron Paul have offered any plan to get us out of debt.  They're all to scared to metion it, but our debt is becoming hoplessly large.  If it is not taken care of soon, it will become so large there will never be any hope of paying it off.

Ron Paul hasn't offered any plan. Plans involve some level of detail. Plans involve tradeoffs and alternative courses of action. He can't even tell you, in the roughest of figures, how much any of his initiatives would save or cost.

We don't pay it off silly. Other countries just do business with the 2 monsters that will dominate us. China and India.

Soon we'll all be at 7-11.

Ron Paul is the only one that seems to have real, genuine values that hold true to the constitution and our founding fathers, and seeing him only get what, 3-5% in Florida (Last I heard, but I didn't follow) sickens me to think that our Nation is just utterly blind to the state our Government is in. It's a shame the media doesn't cover on him, or give him any time to speak. A real fucking shame
I think it is one of those things that if you grow up with it you don't really care about it. Its normal for most of us to look at the government and overlook the corruption.

worst case... Hitlary wins...  luckily 2 years later it will be a republican congress again because everyone realizes how bad she is... We lived through Jimmy Carter... we could survive her...

I still think if she wins the democratic nomination she will lose in Nov... Obama is the only hope for a Democrat pres...
