Hey, I found this on the bf2editor fourms, and thought that it would help some people.

Remember to use it only when your are done with your map

Its not imperative that you only do it when you've finished your map- but just make sure that you do the minimap again at the end.

The most important thing to remember is to redo the minimap AFTER you've done lightmaps and envmaps, because it makes it look 100x better.
