Gah, there has to be some legal way to keep those bastages from acting like douches.
They did get fined $8 million dollars recently. I don't know if it actually worked (Phelps was appealing)...I kind of hope it did.

I am 100% against their message but the fact of the matter is that they believe what they believe, and it's their right to protest, march, speak out, condemn, vilify, and do whatever they want.
I'm pretty sure the God (or whatever it is) that I believe in (to the extent that I do) doesn't condone their sentiment, but he's all for their right to believe whatever they want, and express it however they feel appropriate.
The right to swing your fist ends where the other man's nose begins. Short of that, they can call him whatever they want, say whatever they want, and believe whatever they want. Short of slander and libel, they can have at it as far as I'm concerned.

Sometimes people think they have done nothing wrong when they actually have. Sometimes they only see it from their point of view and don't understand how anoying they can be.
