OK, here is the deal.....I did the manual uninstall and now it will not let me install BF 2 at all. It starts going thru the set up, but the install wizard crashes. Everytime. I have tried this like 20 times now. Any help?

Go to Start - Run - regedit and ok - search for Battlefield 2, and delete anything related to it. Before you delete anything from the registry, make sure you backup your registry first though. Then try again.
I did all that.
Are you running the setup wizard in compatability mode? It should help...
Sorry, that's all I know of that can help. Good luck, was worth a try anyways. Also, check one last time you didn't miss anything. If its your only EA game installed, search for EA instead. Backup registry too, again.Cyco_Kracker wrote:

well unfortunately, nothing has worked. What I think I might just do is reformat my hard drive, wipe out Vista and start over.
