So, you put in any song of your choice, and the game generates a track based on the song. The puzzle/game/thing part of it is really simple, but provides enough of a goal to make it awesome.

the youtube quality sucks, but the game is beautiful

there's another song of a different sort.

The game will release February 15th, and takes full advantage of the newly released Steamworks.
I also know the development team is committed to actively adding on to the game... which is exciting.

Also, my username in the game is Phetal, so add me as a friend, and we can compete for best scores in various tracks.

So yeah, if you end up getting it, tell me your username... And if enough people get it, we can have bf2s competitions...

And, if you doubt it still...
practically any song will look good.
On their forums, they even say Spoken Word and Jazz come out pretty well.

Oh man, I've played that game.

It is the epitome of epic.

Played it with some guitar hero songs on the highest difficulty...Through the fire and the flames is freaking hard. haha. without reseting i mean.

yeah, the demo's short, but the game is going to be released soon, and hopefully for relatively cheap.
It's in the running for the Independent Games Festival's GOTY award. I think I'm gonna buy this one. It's just too cool.

It's only gonna be 10 bucks, may be available on steam, and I think it's worth supporting the guy who did it. It was mostly a one-man project.

edit: and to Haffey, One or Two songs of your own (don't update when prompted the first time, then update for a second play... plus you can always uninstall/reinstall) and then you can play the "Audiosurf Radio" songs as much as you want.

Oh, those little "tsk"s? You can turn those off by going into the menu (escape during gameplay) and turning Sound Effects to 0. It would be kinda fun if it could sample the song and not play a note if you missed it's "block" but that would be..... absurdly hard to program. Plus, I like how the 'game' aspect actually doesn't take over the 'listening-to-songs-while-having-your-eyes-marinated-in-joy' aspect.
But yeah, those little percussive "tsk"s got annoying to me... I'd rather only hear the song.
