BF2S Forums What does everyone do outside of playing BF2?

Financial analyst for a telecom company, husband and father of an 8-year old boy.
I used to be pretty physically active, but my prime workout times have now been taken up by chores and keeping my son active and up-to-date academically.

I play BF2 mostly late at night and on weekends to blow off steam and socialize.

Interesting mix of folks. This is the kind of information that the marketing teams at EA really need... so they stop making those damn SIMs games, and become serious about the community.

Myself: for work, I am currently an Engineering Change Analyst for an Electronics Manufacturing Supplier (if it says Dell / Nortel / IBM / Raytheon / Lucent / Cisco / Microsoft / GE Med / Honeywell etc. on it, we might have built it, and put that company's logo on for them... many of these companies don't actually build anything anymore).

My training is that I am a Engineer in both Electronics and in Aerospace (I just wanted to be able to say Yes: I am a rocket scientist asswipe! )

Still gaming: I play Need for Speed alot, and pick up a new game every 2 months, just to stay current.

Build custom mods for people, considering doing this fulltime now that my wife's practice is up and running (Psychology). Otherwise, travel, sail, read, play with my dog, furniture making, basketball for 4 hours once a week, and try to keep my house from looking like a bomb went off!

As to the school comments, I have to disagree. School teaches you patience, and how to suck it up, and get past the boring stuff, so you can get to the really interesting things. Thermal Dynamics is a good example of this...  once past the chemistry, physics and math, is the artistic work of selecting the right polymer / alloy combination for the front edge of a delta wing, so it doesn't breakup on a high G turn at 40,000 feet (120 below Celcius when you account for the windchill at mach 2)

I "was" in the Army as a 96B intel analyst. I joined when I was 17. I travel frequently thanks to my family. I live at Fort Bragg, NC. Currently planning the next 18 months of my life out, and trying to find an interesting job. We'll see where I go next. Looks like I'll probably move to Raleigh, NC this summer. For the winter months I'm trying to line up a job in property management (through my Mom). Anyone heard of Zihuatanejo, Mexico? (Who wants to come along?)

Outside? I'm sorry but since owning BF2 I wasn't really aware that there WAS an outside.

i just gradumated college now, taking it easy. once i get a real job i prolly wont play every day like i do, but ill still be here all the time. otherwise, i like working out, building shit with my tools, mostly wood projects, and driving my corvette:

I was a 19D Cav Scout in the service.  I, at one time, used to patrol the East-West German, Czech border. It was going to be my career, I got injured and well that didnt work out.

I'm a senior programmer analyst at a re-insurance company.

I have a 12 year old son and another child on the way ( God help me).   

I do Tang Soo Do (Karate), Hae Dong Gumdo (sword).  Play WOW with my wife and son.

Senior Admissions Rep for  Personal Training/Massage Therapy College here in Sacramento, CA, and a wedding photographer.

Play paintball, Head up the scenario division of local paintball team for 26-hour scenarios.

LAN's every weekend at my place.

Im a Political Science Major planning to attend Sheperd Univeristy in the fall (yes the school with all the lesbians)
Got My A+ and realized i cant stand computers, they piss me off too much.

For Pot money, i work at the local food lion. (god i hate it)
And oh yea i play a game called BF2
