ok i hit F12 go to C:\Program Files\Activision\call of duty 4\main

but in there is supposed to be screenshot folder...theres not 1...theres only video and some IWD files

any idea why

Were you playing in a mod? And are you sure F12 is your screenshot button you might have changed it.

Mine is C:\Program files(x86)\Activision\Call of Duty\Main\Screenshots

Don't know whether this makes a difference to you or not.

make a bind like this -> /bind F12 "screenshotjpeg" and then it should save in the main/screenshots folder

How to take a screenshot in CoD4, you can only ss ingame ... taking screens of your challenges and classes doesn't work ...

F12 is the default, but you can map another key if you like.

Where are the screens

Steamdownload: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty 4\main\screenshots

Cd-version: C:\Program Files\Activision\call of duty 4\main\screenshots

If your running Vista, you'll only be able to take screen shots if your running the game as an admin, the same with in game demos. However, if you switch over to running as admin, youll have to start ranks over.
