I don't get why people say this. It is the same game, and it's everything you asked for. It has, new maps, weapons, and vehicles. The only difference is this game is based more on infantry, and forces you to work as a team.yuck7777 wrote:

Hope that the next expansion goes back to the basics and fixes all the bugs. Also, I miss beeing able to play all the maps from both on one server like battlefield 1942. ok, I'll admit it, some of the new maps are very good! My biggest problem is not beeing able to play both at the sametime. Meaning on the same server. As far as vehicles the trucks are just like jeeps, can't really do much with an atv or a jet ski, they don't have any room for teammates. They could have done alot better with the vehicles theres alot more they could have used. Weapons aren't bad. I think they were in a rush to get something out for the chrismas season.
i got my l85, so im very happy. its too laggy, and it just screws up my computer, and both games.
really laggy for me, but i love the game. i love the night maps. devils perch is my favorite map. if it wasnt so laggy i would play it more..

It's a nice change from Bf2. You get new weapons to play with, new maps, night maps, which are just cool. NVGs rule.
That map on the carrier - inspired.
In terms of gameplay I find it pretty much the same as normal Bf2. Nothing wrong with it, and I'm glad I play it.
Things I like.
- new weapons
- night maps and NVGs.
- carrier map.
- new skins, (the Snipers arn't all covered in grass. Sure it helps camoflage, but it looks stupid.)
- the hilarious crappy acting talents of americans trying to be cockney.
- new maps in general; more chance to experiance a new game. That's why I can't understand those of you who only play one or two specific maps.
Things I don't like.
- No NZ servers, so ping can get high. Not much lag for me though.
- Those crappy new APCs/tanks/Whatever the hell you want to call them. They're out of fucking World War One!
