The monitor I have is pretty decent. 19" Ultrasharp flatscreen, so I'm pretty happy with it.
I have a 360, which is actually why I don't play many PC games anymore.
I've been thinking about getting a PS3 but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
I have a TON of DVDs...but I could always use more.
I don't really use ipods.
Speakers, actually, I've been looking to buy. I could use a home theatre system for my new tv.

Dont make the same mistake I did, you will regret it.

IMO This game needs to be taken off the shelves. I have seen too many lives destroyed because of it, one of those being my best friend.

It's not the games fault that your friend has no self control. Millions of people who play it have normal lives and aren't addicted to it.

You can never go wrong with a surround sound system, I think.

I got one last year and I'm glad I did.
Not only is it good for watching movies (esp. DVDs since you say you have a lot), but it's also really useful for music.
They usually surpass the quality of any regular hi-fi system, especially at higher volumes, thanks to the subwoofer.
I can't even tell how many conversations with annoying people at my parties I have avoided because of that system.

Simon: i've yet to meet one person who can control themselves and wow. it took me three years to break my friends from their wow addictions, and only now have they started hanging out and going to parties. every other kid who still plays it does solely that in their free time. millions might lead normal lives, but millions more do not, including, i think, you. the very fact that you defend it like its a human being proves that.

It's an OK game if you like that sorta stuff, I didn't get that into it and quit pretty early. If you keep yourself busy with other stuff to avoid getting addicted then why not?
