best decision i've ever made. sound quality is better than a cd imo, and no more messing around with those horrible fm transmitters. if you have an auxiliary input on your cd player, i highly recommend doing this.
whats up with you and ipods? next im gonna hear "I made a nuclear weapon out of my ipod" from ig.
what'd you use? I'm looking to do the same thing..
Currently using a Road Trip in my brother's clio...sounds interesting though!
I have an iPod connector in my car, operates from the buttons on the steering wheel - that is way neat

I dont believe you would have to spend 30 bucks on that cable, really your looking for a short wire, maybe 6-8 in at the most and I dont think you would loose the quality over 6 inches...
So really no need for gold monster
I bought a Sony Car CD Player at Circuit City and it came with a hookup for an ipod right out of the box and it was only $79 at the time. Sounds really good too.

it's a really nice cable though. it's braided, and it sounds fucking awesome. it's cheaper than any itrip, so i had no problem paying 30 for it.GodFather wrote:

Although there IS a bit of a difference between different analog cables I will admit that. But I just feel sorry for anyone who buys, say, a $70 Monster HDMI cable that's only 6' long when they can get the same for like 2 bucks on Monoprice, for the SAME quality because it's a digital signal.
i got a free $40 from target when i bought my ipod anyway.Hurricane wrote:

I have an auxillary jack on my head unit in the front, very handy. Although I upgraded from my zen touch to an iPod classic now, and my head unit is iPod compatible, so if I buy a cable for it I can fully control the ipod from my head unit while charging it. Handy for keeping it concealedig wrote:
