Why is it that, in my friends gp.info file, there is only a two and nothing else? Thanks....sorry if this has been touched on before i searched but found nothing.

I've heard about that before. Not sure, really. Try opening it with different text editors first. If that don't work, try moving the file to the desktop and running the game to see if it will recreate it. (log in & out)

The next update to the site will have the find player feature built into it again.

this is how it happens, i created an account (mesk) then the gp.cfg file was made, and it had my pid and all the info i needed.
but then my clan was starting to get the game one by one, so i decided i should add my tag, (|7|mesk)
created the new account, and deleted the old one with hope it would update my PID for the new nickname
but it didnt.. still had the old info
so i then deleted the gp file, and ran the game for 20min, to have it recreate one, with the new info..
and the game made a new file, but it only has a "2" in it, so now im fuxx'd and wonna see my stats
hope someone figures this out quick, i'll be around

Ok, maybe I'm just mentally deficient but I can't for the life of me find that damn gp.inf file anywhere. I've looked in every folder in my BF2 folder And I don't see it. even searched my entire comp with no luck. Am I missing something?
N/M I found it the easy way. Just followed the link in my sig and there it was on my stat page.

If you guys are having problems finding it, try just typing this into an IE window... C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\gp.info
never mind i found mine if you can't find it you have to "ONLY" have 2(i think thats what was wrong) accounts in the login screen to get the Gp.info file to show up
but if the file is not there you can not use the C:/______/_____/____/gp.info

BTW, FIXED : The find function is back on the old system so names that don't include the dreaded three can be searched now
