Alright, this happens sometimes. Sometimes it doesn't. Basically once I've logged in and I get that stupid Advert crap that pops up. I can't close the window or do anything else. I can still move the mouse around. But I can't click the button to close it, or I can't click on anything.

I can't even ctrl+alt+del out or alt+tab or alt+F4, nothing works. Yet I can still move the mouse around. So it hasn't frozen, it's just.....messed up. Anyone know what the problem is?

I just solved my in-game freezing, then this shit happens. Sometimes I wonder why do I even bother with this game anymore, but FH2 is fun and I wanna play it.

This game shouldn't be as successful as it is, DICE got really lucky with the way they've treated it.

That happened to me for the first time a couple of days ago, I just restarted my PC -  cleaned the BF2 disc and it's been working ever since.

Really helpful response there.

Are the colours and menu screen all correct. I sometimes have a problem where all of the colours are messed up and then i'm in the same position as you. Mouse will work but nothing else will. For me i just reset my comp and all is fine, but i don't think this will help much.

Would you be able to reinstall the game?? or would this be too much of a problem. One of the files may have corrupted (or something) and it's causing the game to lock up.

God only knows how popular this game would have been if it were bug free. WOW killer.
