I remember chuy adding the feature, but can't find the post in which he explained how its done.

I thought it was something along the lines of

Code:

[cd]25/12/2007 | Its christmas | its not [/cd]
but all i get is... "25/12/2007 | Its christmas | its not "

Prehaps adding how to do this (and maybe explaining how to do tables), would be a good addition for the BB Code Help Page?

The reasons i'm asking this, is because I was curious if there was a possiblity of using this in the CD Around the World topic- adding a counter that counted up from the day DU first send the CD- but i needed the syntax first to see if it was possible! (converting the countdown.. to a count up?)

[cd ]date string[/cd]

Using the above code will generate and inplace countdown text string. When the date reaches zero, the text will read "date reached".

Dates should be formatted in accordance with RFC 2822. Unless you are a complete nerd, here's what that sort of means:

Day(numeral) Month(FullText) Year(4 Digit Numeral) Hour(24 format):Minute(with leading zero):Seconds(leading zeros) Timezone(3 letter)

Examples:
21 August 2007 12:00:00 PST
3 May 2020 16:30:10 GMT
25 December 20016 00:00:00 EST
