Ati Drivers Help!

Can someone please give me a link to an ATI driver that actually works properly. All the ones I've tried don't display games properly and reset my desktop resolution to 800x600.

I'm assuming that you've downloaded the latest ones from the ATI website, right?

Edit: Latest Catalyst is 7.11

You could always try an older driver set. Has your card ever run well?

Ye it was running just fine until a month ago when i got COD4 and it wouldn't work with the 7.10 driver and now i can't seem to find a driver that works perfectly with it

You said it wouldn't work with 7.10. Did you check out 7.11?
Your computer does meet the minimum requirements, right?

Can games even run properly with an X300? I mean, it runs BF2 on minimum at like 25FPS...

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I still play bf2 with a radeon 9600gt, works fine on low, medium can be a little laggy in the beginning of a round
