A lot of folks complain about people who hop around in a firefight like their pants were on fire. Some have even proposed not letting people jump at all.

I say let them hop all they want. If people want to jump as they run for cover and I can't hit them, that's my problem. But if they run and hop like a bunny and still get off accurate shots - that's just wrong, and it screws up game play.

The real problem with bunny hopping is that it is actually effective in a firefight. It shouldn't be; someone firing in mid-jump is going to be spraying bullets all over the place, but it appears in BF2 to be almost as good as standing on two feet.

BF2 applies accuracy factors for standing/kneeling/prone/zoomed, but there does not appear to be nearly enough of an accuracy penalty for motion.  I would like to see a significant penalty for moving shooters, and even more for jumping shooters.
