Well since i am fairly new to the real version of BF2, i would like to know exactly how i get these points, maybe some helpful hints?

Also is it posible to lose global points after you earn them?

1. Shoot people.
2. Revive people.
3. Heal people.
4. Repair stuff.
5. Resupply people with ammo.
6. Cap flags.
7. Blow up Artillery, UAV, and Sattellite with C4.
8. Shoot more people.

global points are the amount of points u have on the stat board at the end of the round. plz visit Wiki to find out more about scoring.

Btw, the only way to loose global points is by getting teamkills (-4) or team damage/team vehicle damage (both -2).
