Well, yes, basically. I want some very high quality earphones. £50 - £100.

Earphones, not headphones. Also, you can link me to more expensive if you think I can get them off eBay for less than £100. That will be fine by me ( I have already found a pair that were originally £125 and on eBay they are £90. )

So yeah, halp. I currently have some Etymotic ER-6i Earphones. But I have had them for quite a while ( when I bought them they were over £100. ) and I want some new ones to go with my new MP3 ( YP-P2 for any interested ).

Lets see what people come up with. I have already been looking at some decent Sennheisers and Shure ( they were the ones that were at £125 ). Lets see your suggestions.

I came across these when i was looking for headphones. They sounded great, although Bose does not make it easy to compare thier stuff ot other brands.

I'll take a look at them. Thanks. Although I have never really liked Bose for their Quality. Maybe their design, but quality can be faulty at times - especially when you compare those to some awesome Shure earphones.

I was actually looking at them on eBay. They had some awesome deals, too bad they all shipped within USA. I may look at them, but I am not too fussed about style, I just want pure, awesome sound quality without the disturbance of sounds from the outside.

I may as well go for the Shure. They always seem to be the best bet.

Shure definetely seem to be under par with earphones these days. Even the Apple store now has several varieties in stock, boasting their superior quality.

Yes, but in normal everyday English, Sub-par under-par etc means worse.

Yes you can. The best sound quality earphones/headphones comes from a pair of Shure E500s that cost over 800 Euros. Not headphones, earphones. I looked at the Sennheiser, and they have very poor bass.

Eh .. no you can't, earphones don't have the abillity to come up with high quality sound, the mere construction don't allow that to ever happend.

Comparing the sound from E500s costing €800 is not valid because you pay for the brand not the quality even though they are by far the best earphones without doubt .... and paying €800 for earphones is madness.
