As Bernadictus is in the graphic business, I think he should make a thread with a veeeeery simplified version of a graphic request he could get. Kind of like the cup of tea, but a little more in depth (modern? Lot's of cafés or just one? traditional logo? etc etc). People PM him what they enter and after a week, a thread is made with the results, without a poll. Bernadictus should then have a Graphic team that pics out a winner before the thread is made. (the team would be serious and pick out the one that is actualy best, not the one with biggest boobs or funniest leetspeak)
Then, people can comment on the logo's, ask people how they made them, give tips, etc.
Everyone learns, no-one is afraid of entering, there is no entry limit which makes people rush to be in the first 10, and those who are interested in going into this business learn how logo's should be made.

I kind of agree with this, unless of course the theme of the week is comedy/women. It kind of ruins the credibility of sotw when the winner is always the person who put in the lulz or the seckseh womens. Other than that I think sotw is doing pretty good.
