- do you get alot more lag on here than vBF2?
You'll get more system lag yes, as PR has alot more detail and all that, but I dont notice any lag so I cant really help.
Same here. Except when i play on Jungle/Forest maps too many damn trees on Hi choke my 8800.r2zoo wrote:

Medium FTW! My 7600GT can easily handle those maps on all medium It did lag a bit before I installed my 2gigs of RAM, so if you have a small amount of ram, preparefor lag.David.P wrote:

With 1Gb RAM ---> BF2 all on medium + 2xAA no lag. PR lag bigtime...
With 2Gb RAM ---> PR on medium + 4xAA no lag. BF2 even everything on high no lag at all.
Proc. Athlon 3500+ and Gforce 6600 (256mb).
Not bad huh? But now my processor is having a hard time...
im just waiting and praying for my new, pc, router, cables, everything
i dont really lag that bad on PR tbh. i should though because my pc is rubbish and PR tends to have a lot more statics etc. i'm running it on all on the lowest graphic settings mind you.
I can't play PR because of lag.
I get 50-80 ping on vanilla, and 80-100 on PR, but the lag is terrible.
Specs:
2.4 Ghz Quad Core
8800 GTS Geforce
3 GB of RAM

Fools road and Qinling are really hard for your PC. But the most problems are solved when you tune down your graphs from High to Medium. Its even hard to see the difference...but i assume you tried that already? Otherwise change back to your old videocard driver, which can help...

PR is more detailed than vanilla. So it's going to be a little more trying on your system. Jungle/forest and city maps are a real killer. I have my video settings on 800x600, full screen. Things would be impossible to play with all the jagged lines, it's harder to see enemies, so anti-aliasing on 4 reduces the lines. So I'm getting smooth high quality imagery with a low resolution, and everything's better than it was at 1024x768 without AA.
But 1 gb of RAM and a video card 100 away from meeting the bare minimum reqs will have some lag.

seems incredible... i play with a muxh worse comp and i dont get lag on the lightest maps. i really think you should lower your graphics settings a bit.The_Lance_117 wrote:
